. Combine cranberries, sugar and both juices in a medium saucepan.
Cook over medium high heat until mixture comes to a boil. Turn heat down and simmer mixture, stirring occasionally, for approximately 9 minutes and at most 14 minutes or until cranberries are softened but still are holding their shape.
Remove from heat and pour mixture through a fine mesh sieve. Set over a medium sized, heatproof bowl.
Pour cranberries into a bowl and allow to cool.
Allow the syrup to cool.
Use candied cranberries in any of your favorite recipes. You can use the syrup as a glaze or over any ice cream or cake. The syrup is also great in mixed drinks or to sweeten tea.
