Chocolate Fudge Frosting
Ingredients
2
cups
heavy cream
4
tablespoons
unsalted butter
4
cups
high quality semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Bring the heavy cream and butter to a simmer in a large saucepan. Remove from the heat and add chocolate. Whisk until melted.
Cool down by whisking over an ice water bath or chilling in the refrigerator until the frosting is of spreading consistency.
Notes
Makes enough to fill and frost two 9-inch round layers.
